Access a wide range of events, activities and programmes both at The Forum and in your school exploring the First World War and your local area.
The Norfolk in the First World War: Somme to Armistice project offers a creative and innovative programme of learning experiences for young people and adults to research their local history.
The young person’s strand of the project is called Finding the Fallen. Primary and secondary schools are researching their local war memorial and uncovering the real lives behind the engraved names. The second strand of the project is called First World War Women of Norfolk. This involves adult volunteers researching women on active service and their legacy post war.
